Ave Maria Academy is pleased to partner with the MacPhail Center for Music for our band program. The instruction is offered to 4th - 8th Graders and classes run throughout the school year, meeting 2x per week.
Teaching the fundamentals of basketball to our future Crusaders in grades 1-4. This program will introduce the three basic fundamentals of basketball; dribbling, passing and shooting. There will be a lot of games and drills to get kids excited about basketball. The basketballs are size 28.5 and the baskets will be lowered to 8.5’.
The Drama Club offers Ave Maria students in 5th – 8th grade the opportunity for hands on participation in the arts. Club members take the lead in staging three school-sponsored performances each year, including the Grandparent’s Day Program, the Christmas Pageant and the Spring Play. Students meet once a week after school where they learn about all aspects of theater production.

Engineering For Kids brings science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM), to kids ages 4 to 14 in a fun and challenging way through classes, camps, clubs, and parties. We are proud to inspire children to build on their natural curiosity by teaching engineering concepts through hands-on learning. Engineering is, after all, one of the fastest growing industries in the world!
By using our simple drawing method, certified instructors help students create original works of art beyond what they thought possible. We are a drawing based program, complimented with artistic projects and curriculum that never repeat from age 2-18. They offer exposure to many mediums over the course of a student’s education. Soccer Shots is a nationally recognized, engaging children’s soccer program with a focus on character development.
