ENRICHING EXPERIENCES BEYOND THE CLASSROOM

Drama Club

Drama Club provides students in grades 5–8 at Ave Maria with hands-on opportunities to engage in the performing arts. Members are invited to participate in formal auditions for specific roles in the annual musical production. All students in grades 5–8 take part in the ensemble, gaining valuable experience in stage performance, collaboration, and production. This annual performance is a highlight for both our students and the broader school community.

Beyond Hoops

Teaching the fundamentals of basketball to our future Crusaders in grades 1-4. This program will introduce the three basic fundamentals of basketball; dribbling, passing and shooting. There will be a lot of games and drills to get kids excited about basketball.

Lil’ Hitters

Introducing the basic fundamentals of volleyball: hitting, setting and serving. There will be a lot of games and drills to get the girls excited about playing volleyball. Offered to girls in kindergarten – 4th grade.

SUPER SOCCER STARS

Our goal is to help children improve their gross motor and soccer skills. Our coaches create a fun, non-competitive, and educational environment to ensure children develop self-confidence and physical literacy in every class. Offered to AMA students in kindergarten - 3rd grade.

Kidz Art

A unique creative arts program. Classes are drawing based, complimented with artistic projects and curriculum that never repeat. Your child will have exposure to many mediums over the course of a student’s education. Offered to AMA students in kindergarten – 4th grade.

Chess Club

Run by Twin Cities Chess Club. Offered to Kindergarten – 8th Graders. Classes on Strategies and Tactics; Openings, Middlegame and Endgame; Solving Puzzles
